She is committed to working with a team of young and talented professionals in production, manufacturing, supervising, and preventive maintenance areas. Weynishet believes that commitment to quality is a key to producing strong infrastructure that makes an organization remarkable. Previously Weynishet worked as logistics officer at Transsion Manufacturing Plc. She also managed production system files data and information storage and archiving them regularly with DCC. She enjoys outdoor activities and exploring new destination with her daughter Meloni. Weynishet earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Mekelle University and an MBA from ADMAS University.

Meaza is a dedicated social development professional with a strong foundation in community development, gender equality, and conflict sensitivity. Meaza serves as the Senior Peace Advocacy and Ethics Officer at the Ethiopian Orthodox Church Development and Interchurch Aid Commission /EOC-DICAC/, where her duties include program design, management, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting. Meaza’s participation in capacity-building trainings, both in Ethiopia and across other African countries, has further enhanced her skills in project cycle management and development processes. She envisions a future where all Ethiopians live in safe, dignified conditions, with their fundamental rights and needs fully protected and fulfilled. Meaza possesses a Master’s degree in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Social Anthropology.

Nardos is a seasoned Knowledge Manager and Collaboration, Learning, and Adaptation Advisor at Engender Health. Under the project led by Engender Health Nardos is committed to effective management, dissemination, and utilization of knowledge within organizations, ensuring that critical information is delivered to the right stakeholders promptly. Her passion is in empowering decision-making and enhancing institutional success through proficient knowledge management. She excels in actor mapping and identification, facilitating program learning platforms, and orchestrating national collaboration and knowledge exchange events. Her continuous pursuit of knowledge has equipped her with a broad skill set encompassing data management, research, geographic information science, data visualization, graphic design, and agile management methodologies. Nardos has made significant contributions to health, agriculture, economic empowerment, and humanitarian initiatives throughout Ethiopia. Nardos holds Master of Public Health (MPH) and an MBA in Project Management.

Dagmawit is an accomplished business development expert, researcher, and advocate for inclusive development. Dagmawit has a strong foundation in economics and agricultural research. With over a decade of experience in international NGOs and donor-funded programs, Dagmawit has established herself as a leader in resource mobilization, partnership development, proposal design, and program management. She has successfully spearheaded grant acquisition efforts, developed country-level donor engagement strategies, and contributed to the design of inclusive programs addressing health, nutrition, and protection needs. Dagmawit is also deeply committed to community empowerment through mentorship and advocacy. She actively contributes to charitable initiatives, such as teaching life skills and moral values to children through organizations like Compassion International. She is a dedicated supporter of disability inclusion, gender mainstreaming, and the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV). She holds a master’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Haromaya University.
CEO and Founder of Dr. Ambachew Foundation
Meaza is the Executive Director of the Dr. Ambachew Mekonnen Foundation (AMF) striving to build Ethiopia’s future leaders. AMF was established in 2020 to honor the memory of her late father, the former president of the Amhara Regional State of Ethiopia. Through AMF, Meaza’s goal is to honor her father’s memory by helping build a generation of leaders who will contribute to the future of Ethiopia. Her academic background in development drives her passion for sustainable development and social change. In addition to her work at the foundation, Meaza also serves as a researcher at the Organization for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa (OSSREA), contributing to the Behind the Scene Project, which focuses on youth empowerment and gender-based inequities in Africa’s creative sector. Meaza holds a Master’s degree in Development Policy from the KDI School of Public Policy and Management in South Korea.
